Mountain Savory Oil for Afternoon Slumps

Sharp herb for people who tolerate strong scents.

[ wellness ]

Mountain savory does not whisper. One drop in a room is a decision. I treat it as a sharp herb for a short afternoon, not as a spray I leave running while I forget I turned it on.

The slump after lunch is real. So is the habit of reaching for anything that feels like a jolt. This oil may cut through dull air. It is not a stimulant. It will not replace sleep you skipped, and it will not make a third espresso honest. If I am tired because I was up too late, I do not add a phenol-heavy herb and call it a system.

Tiny amount. Ventilated room. I would not put this in a shared small office without asking. Skin gets a carrier oil first, always, and usually I skip skin entirely. Pets stay out of the plume. Store it like the potent stuff it is, away from heat and curious hands.

This is not medical advice. Mountain savory may suit people who already like strong kitchen herbs. If your chest tightens or your head complains, stop. Pregnant, nursing, or managing a condition: ask a practitioner. Do not guess from a blog note.

I use it as a ten-minute mark between blocks. Then I open the window and let the room be a room again.
