Celery Seed Oil Notes for Calm Focus
Earthy, quiet notes for people who dislike sweet florals.
[ wellness ]
Celery seed oil is the quiet green bottle I reach for when sweet florals would be a lie. It smells like crushed stems and wet earth, not soup. A little bitter. Easy to overdo.
I keep it for desk diffusion, and even then I treat it as a short cue, not room perfume. One drop in a small diffuser. Two drops is how the room starts to smell like a garden after rain and my head starts to complain. It is not a neat oil. I do not roll it on wrists. I do not drip it on a tissue and leave it in a closed office. Pets clock it faster than people do.
What it may do is mark a calmer stretch of afternoon work. What it does not do is fix focus, anxiety, or anything a clinician would treat. Nothing here is medical advice. Scent is a preference with a safety sheet attached.
If it ever meets skin, dilute it in a carrier first and keep it off sun-exposed areas. Celery seed can raise photosensitivity. Do not ingest it. Store the bottle away from heat. If you are pregnant, nursing, or managing a chronic condition, ask someone qualified before you open it.
Window cracked. Timer on. Then off.
