Forest as monument that bends.
Resilience in a tree is not poetry. It is bend without breaking, root hold, season after season of weather you did not choose.
Symphony is declined. Monument is closer — solid, tender in the sway, host to green creatures who inherit the shade.
Safeguard is homework. Accurate is noticing who lives because the trunk stayed.
The forest keeps its ledger in the roots.
