Overcoming Anxiety
The nervous system does not attend your schedule.
The body keeps its own calendar. Pulse elevated without permission. Mind rehearsing catastrophes it will not invoice you for.
This is not a character flaw report. It is physiology wearing a narrative.
Breath can be counted — not as victory, as temporary treaty with the animal that lives behind the ribs.
Speech with a witness helps when the witness does not rush you toward a moral ending.
Anxiety does not require redemption. It requires room and the refusal to call fear a failure.
The hands stay in view. That is the whole assignment.
