Hope
Aspiration without a triumph clause.
Hope is not a guarantee. It is the decision to keep a calendar after the year has already failed you once.
Aspiration names a direction. It does not promise arrival. The body learns the difference when optimism runs out of stationery.
Faith in a brighter future is useful only if it admits the dark room you are standing in.
Hope that refuses inventory is propaganda wearing soft light.
The calendar stays open to tomorrow.
