Guiding Light
In dark times the torch is not a promise.
Dark times do not send angels with customer service voices.
They send the torch that shows the stairs you have been pretending are not yours to climb.
Guiding light is not comfort. It is enough visibility to choose the next harm or the next honesty.
Hecate does not walk you out. She walks beside you until you stop asking to be carried.
The wick is shorter than you hoped.
