Fine Line
Pride and arrogance — one fence, two sides.
The line is not philosophy. It is calibration.
Pride stands tall — dignity, voice, land in the chest. Arrogance is pride without listening, pomp billed as grace.
Ego loves the boast. Confidence without restraint becomes weather that damages porches.
You want presence felt — hourly, honestly — not theater that collects enemies as souvenirs.
Noble pride wears dignity correctly: lion that knows when to roar, when to drink water, when to leave the room.
Arrogance deceives with worth borrowed from volume.
Find prideful mirth if you can — brightness that does not require someone smaller nearby.
The fence is thin. You still choose which side to stand on.
