Sage Essential Oil for Grounding After Meeting-Heavy Days
Herbaceous reset when Slack will not stop.

I am not burning a bundle to perform a reset. After a day of calls I want a culinary-adjacent herb in the air, then I want the air back. Sage oil, used that way, is a kitchen smell with the volume turned up. Read the label. “Sage” on a bottle can mean different plants, including clary, and they are not interchangeable.
Ventilation is the whole method. A few minutes of diffusion with a window cracked. Then stop. A closed room after six meetings just becomes another meeting you cannot leave. I do not use this as smoke theater, and I do not leave it on while I cook or sleep.
This is not medical advice. Sage oil may help the house feel less like a backlog. It does not process Slack. Dilute for skin, which I usually skip. Keep pets out of the mist; birds and cats are especially unimpressed. Store away from heat. If you are pregnant, nursing, or managing a condition, ask a practitioner. Some sage types are a hard no without that conversation.
I pair it with logging off, not instead of logging off. The scent marks the end of the stack. The calendar still has to stop pinging.
