Trust is a Technical Protocol
It handshakes the same way TLS does.
Trust between people and teams behaves like a protocol — small verifiable exchanges, round by round — not a personality trait you either have or lack. Skip a round and the connection drops.
>_ key ideas
- Trust advances through kept small promises — an offer, an ack, a visible revision when reality changes.
- Silence is a protocol violation. The vacuum will be filled by someone else's story.
- Downgrade paths must be explicit: name the miss, the workaround, the new date.
- Written packets beat performed enthusiasm. A changelog entry is an ack; 'we hear you' is a half-open connection.
